I was first introduced to Rigmarole products about 4 years ago, while fishing in Abbey Lakes complex in France by the bailiff at the time Rupert Whiteman. We all know in the carping fraternity what a pressured venue this can be. I was introduced to a rig using rigmarole Hydrolink, a material so versatile for tying countless variations by stripping out the inner core. This specific rig and hook link material has been part of my tackle box ever since and I believe has been pivotal in putting countless weary carp on the bank for me.

I am 32 from hampshire. I have been fishing for 25+ years. I love all types of fishing whether it be river, sea or course but my real passion is carp fishing. I spent a good few years fishing local club lakes untill eventually getting a ticket on frimley pits where i currently enjoy my carp fishing.

I started out like most anglers trotting a float down a river or still water. Then carp fishing took over as it does and over the last 3-4 years I have had some great results at various venues. I first started off using the hunchbacks on my normal blow back rigs, then I really got into surface fishing (mainly all I do now during the warmer months) and found that when using bread as a hook bait the hunchbacks were producing the most hook holds over various other hooks I tried, they do work with a banded mixer but not as affective as a wide gape etc. Then Ben put me onto the skinful as for all my rigs I use a coated braid hooklink. For how easy it is to use and how strong it is I won’t use anything else, to prove how strong it is stripped back at the rig tubing I’ve had loads of catfish over the years to 118lb and carp to 55lb with having no problems of it snapping at-all both in 15lb and the 25lb version. This year apart from surfacing for carp I plan to take a step back from carp fishing and my plan is to spend the limited time I have chasing that first river barbel from my local stretch of the Medway.

I am 16 years old, I am from the south Leicestershire area and have been carp fishing for almost 6 years now. I started off fishing local day tickets. I was mainly self taught until last year when I took part in the well known carp academy and it transformed my fishing. I am now part of a good solid syndicate and have caught fish to just over the 30lb mark. I can’t wait to start an awesome journey with rig marole and look forward to working with the team.

I started my angling journey many moons ago fishing local beaches and piers with my father. The seeds of my obsession for carp were planted 24 years ago when a friend introduced me to his parent’s pond that was about half an acre and full of carp to 10lb. From this I fished many local waters for other species and larger carp with some success. My angling started to really evolve around 19 years ago upon joining my first syndicate. Since then I have enjoyed the challenge of more difficult waters and the many trials and tribulations they bring. I have been fortunate enough to catch six English forties along the journey. I only have very limited angling time due to a small family. I get out on the bank for short overnighters and I know by using Rigmarole end tackle it helps maximise my rig concealment and doesn’t let you down, putting more fish on the bank. The range of products is going from strength to strength with more products in development. My favourites are the Micro Braided Freefall tubing, Camh20 Fluro and the ever faithful Hydrolink I can safely say im 110% confident in using the products and just have to worry about location!

I’m a family man and a passionate carp angler. Almost every waking moment my minds on the water pigs. I’m a day ticket angler that loves trying to workout a new lake in a short time and catch them pressured carp. I’m very fortunate to have plenty of time to get onto the bank, and even more so getting to fish weekdays due to working shift. My 2018 is focused on upper 30’s and then breaking that 40lb barrier. Which I’m confident I’ll do, now I’m a member of a great tackle company in Rig Marole. But as most carpers will agree, all carp are more than welcome to hit the net.

I have been into carp fishing now for about 5 years. It started off as a passion but has now turned into a real obsession. I'm out pretty much every weekend with my husband. My pb at the moment is a mirror carp of 27.8lb which I caught on my local club water. It's not all about beating my pb there's nothing better to me than catching a really pretty carp. I'm hoping i will catch my first 30 this year with the venues I’ve booked. I’ve not yet done any foreign waters I'm hoping to do France water next year. My favourite rig to use is the blowback rig. But since being signed up to Rig Marole I'll be trying the slip d rig made with the micro hydrolink and the hinge stiff rig made with the hydrolink.

I Have been Fishing for around 4 Years and initially started out Sea Fishing but soon progressed to Carp fishing and have never looked back. I fish most weekends with my Partner & our Black Lab Buddy. I was introduced to Rigmarole products when I was Fishing Emmotland Ponds and have used them ever since. I love the LinkteQ Braided leader as it enables me to fish on lakes even if they have lead core leader bans, It sinks like a brick and hugs the most challenging lake beds, it has certainly improved my catch Rate.

I’ve been fishing for around 12 years now, I fish a couple of charity advents a year to raise funds i have a syndicated ticket on frimley pits 1&2 but I also fish day ticket waters up and down the country and to have a few socials with friends, But a big part of my fishing is taking my 6 year old Son with me 98% of the time to teach him the sport we all love. We also go to France once a year as well for a week.

I've been fishing from an early age "about 6", I started going with our neighbours eel fishing on the thames, as we grew up my mates and i progressed to course fishing for roach, perch and whatever came along and scrapping together what tackle we could afford doing odd jobs. My teen years were spent match fishing with local clubs mostly in deepest Kent for tench and bream and small carp then venturing further afield to the river Kennett for barbel, chub and big roach. In my 20's I found i preferred carp fishing as the mainstay of my angling and in the 80's gearing up for that and spend most of my money on tackle apart from a few breaks to go sea fishing carping has become my life, I'm currently fishing for one of two 50's on my membership lake "Darenth big lake" although they have eluded me so far.

The picture above is of one of my most memorable catches and one that carries a lot of happy memories, fishing to the dam wall were I was wading down the margin and casting over my marker so I could retrieve my lead and then attach my hook link on the other bank and then hand place my Rig, the session went onto produce 2x 40s and several upper 30s so will never be forgotten. I started fishing many years ago as I say I won’t go into how long as that gives my age away lol, from fishing the local canals to club-waters, match fishing to carp fishing I soon got the bug which some say is now my addiction well I’d say I’d agree. I fished a lot of years in France and was lucky to have caught numerous large fish, I have in the latter years been fishing Syndicates around the Shropshire and Shrewsbury borders of which i am loving and hope to carry on with for some time, I also travel on socials to other lakes up and down the country, well when I’m asked anyways ha. Angling is my passion and if anyone is considering joining the fraternity of Carp anglers I’d highly recommend using the Rig Marole tackle and end tackle products above any other, as they ‘state’ finely tuned tackle, they innovate not copy.

In recent years I have fished in Kent, both Stillwater’s and the Medway River. My work took me to the midlands and I fished the pride of Derby waters and Nott’s Angling with the River Trent and the Attenborough Nature Reserve. Now, during pre-season I fish my home syndicate in Kent until spawning time and then it will be time to hit the rivers. I prefer to fish for the wild river carp, my work takes me all over the uk and wherever possible I work days and fish nights. River work is tough on your gear, snags and fast flows teamed up with the wily river fish will ruin your gear if it’s not up to the task, I use FLX main line in either 15lb or 20lb, it’s great for casting and resilient, the braided rig tubing keeps everything pinned to the deck and the free fall lead clip are a must to drop the lead and the clip, better control of the fish and an improved chance of a fish in the net. My hook links are either extreme hydrolink or camh20 depending on conditions. Stripped out the hydrolink is the most supple material I’ve used and well behaved in the water, presenting my bait as naturally as possible. I’m not here to tell you to go with rigmarole, any salesman could do that. But I’ll show you why I do.
